Nov 2013 - Update!!

It's been a very long time since I released this little app. I had actually lost the code, but after going through all my files the other weekend, I actually found the code for the Flash version burried on a CD. So, after all this tme, I have actually released an update!! I have finally fixed the issue where Quickstart would finish after only 9 minutes! For now, this fix only applies to the online web version, not the AIR app that you can install.

Additionally, I have added a commenting section at the bottom of the page. Please let me know if there are any other requests. Thanks!

Don't have an iPhone or iPod Touch? No problem! Before creating WOD Timer for the iPhone, we created a FLASH version of the interval timer for the desktop using the Adobe Flex SDK. We're now making the FLASH version available for free from this website!

WOD Timer for the Desktop can be run online from this page (hint - look for the link at the bottom of this page). However, you don't always have an internet connection so WOD Timer for the Desktop is also available as a downloadable Adobe AIR application (hint 2 - the download link for this is also at the bottom of this page).

Multiple Timing Modes

WOD Timer features 3 separate timing modes:

  1. Standard Timer
  2. Countdown Timer
  3. Interval Timer

Comprehensive Interval Settings

The interval mode of WOD Timer allows for a complex interval workout, consisting of multiple sets of multiple intervals.
Interval presets are also available for some more popular interval workouts. Presets are included for the following workouts:

  • Tabata
  • Tabata Something Else
  • Fight Gone Bad

Audio Cues

WOD Timer features audio cues to let you know where you’re at in an interval. The audio cues can be customized to vocal cues or a non-vocal audio cue. Users also have the option of specifying no audio cue.

Install Methond

  2. Then, click here to install WOD Timer
  3. When asked to save or open by your browser, just open the file
  4. Finally, when shown the warning, click "install" and then "continue"
